Why the crib? I kept asking myself why, but I can't seem to know the exact answer. Crib?

According from the etymology of the word crib, it has three different origin. From Old English, Old High German, and Greek. Like myself, I have different roots. My family is from the Philippines, Kalibo, Aklan to be exact. Both of my mother and father has Spanish roots. My mothers' maiden name is Requeja (i don't know what it means), while my fathers' is Barrientos (i don't know what it means either). Both of them was born in Kalibo. Like the word crib, I am like it, I also have different roots. I'm not ashamed of my roots. I'm proud of being a Filipino and a Visayan.

I chose the word crib maybe because of its essence of home and safeness. If I hear the word crib, I picture a scene of a mother rearing her son or daughter. Full of love, full of affection. Honestly, I'm a person which is full of affection. I rarely display it to others but if I do I really give my best in showing it.

The word crib came out from my mind out of nothing. It just popped-out! And there it goes!

Maybe I chose it out of spontaneity. Maybe I chose it subconsciously. Maybe I chose it unwillingly. Who really knows?
